A large number of Kashmiris protested against India in Geneva
Kashmiris from all over Europe gathered in front of the United Nations office in Geneva and protested against the anti-Kashmir policies and atrocities of the Modi government. The atmosphere of Geneva echoed with the slogans of “Death to Modi” and “Death to India”. Holding up placards with pictures of martyrs and anti-India slogans, the protesters raised slogans of Azadi Du in favor of giving self-determination to Kashmiris. The protesters also demanded the release of the arrested Hurriyat leadership. Leaders of Kashmiri immigrants from Italy, France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, United Kingdom and Switzerland addressed the demonstration and demanded the United Nations Human Rights Commission to take notice of serious human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir.
