Tehran: The helicopter carrying former Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his colleagues crashed in northern Iran, killing seven others including the president and the foreign minister, the final investigation report of the accident has been released.
According to the Al Jazeera report, the final report of the Supreme Board of the General Staff of the Armed Forces said that the reason for the helicopter crash was bad weather and environmental conditions in the region.
The report added that the main cause of the helicopter crash was the sudden appearance of heavy and increasing fog, which caused the helicopter to crash into a mountain.

It should be remembered that in May, the Iranian army said in the preliminary investigation report that no evidence of any kind of attack on the helicopter was found.
